CONTACT WITH PARENTS
To improve the child’s cognitive, social and emotional development, communication with parents is a successful tool.
Parents play a vital role in the development of a child’s character; therefore, parent teacher contact is encouraged by the School. The following methods are used to keep the parents involved:
Open Day
Open Day is held every fortnight, after school, for parents to come to school and meet the teaching staff. No prior appointment is required.
End-of-Term Meeting
At the end of each term parents are invited to attend a Parent- Teacher Conference to discuss their child’s progress and to receive a written report.
By Appointment
Parents are advised to make an appointment to meet teachers/ the Head.
School Diary
Teachers and parents communicate with each other through the school diary.
Newsletter
At the end of the term, the School produces a Newsletter which is distributed to all parents.
Functions
Parents are invited to attend a number of functions during the year. Parents are invited as members of the audience and the School staff meets them informally on these occasions. The major functions to which parents are invited include Prize Distribution, the Funfair and Sports Day.
